Route One

(beautiful scenery, but can be slow)

• Exit J23 on M5.

• Take A39 "Exmoor via Minehead" road.

• Follow along coast and through Lynmouth, stay on A39

• In village of Barbrook turn immediately left beside service station (on your left), sign-posted Shallowford, Ilkerton.

• Drive approx. 1 mile until you cross cattle grid onto moor, at which point turn right off the road.

• Follow stone track for 100 yards, enter the left hand entrance.

• You have arrived at High Bullen Farm!

Route Two

(faster traffic ...usually)

• Exit J27 on M5

• Take A361

• Between South Molton and Barnstaple turn right for Blackmoor Gate

• At Blackmoor gate take A39 sign-posted Lynton and Lynmouth.

• At Barbrook village right immediately before service station (on your right), signposted Shallowford, Ilkerton.

• Drive approx. 1 mile until you cross cattle grid onto moor, at which point turn right off the road.

• Follow stone track for 100 yards, enter the left hand entrance.

• You have arrived at High Bullen Farm the other way!
