With its tranquil salmon and trout rivers, untamed heathland, steep combes and hidden woodland, which is spring is carpeted in primroses and bluebells, the area is a haven for rare animals, including the famous Exmoor ponies, wild red deer, foxes, badgers, hares, buzzards, hawks, herons, skylarks, kingfishers, lizards, snakes and of course the infamous Exmoor beast.

The farm placed as it is between the moorland and the north coast of Exmoor, is a perfect setting from which to see this breathtaking and unspoilt part of the country, particularly so on horseback. Being so "tucked away" High Bullen is guaranteed to be quiet and secluded even in the height of the holiday season.
