With its tranquil salmon and trout rivers, untamed heathland, steep combes and hidden woodland, which is spring is carpeted in primroses and bluebells, the area is a haven for rare animals, including the famous exmoor ponies, wild  red deer, foxes, badgers,  hares, buzzards, hawks, herons, skylarks, kingfishers, lizards, snakes and of course the infamous Exmoor beast.

The farm placed as it is between the moorland and the north coast of Exmoor, is a perfect setting from which to see this breathtaking and unspoilt part of the country, particularly so on horseback. Being so "tucked away" High Bullen is guaranteed to be  quiet and  seclucded even in the height of the holiday season.

Our holidays have a homely and laid-back atmosphere and we make every effort to put you at your ease from the moment you arrive. No matter what standard, our guests have found that their riding ability and confidence have improved greatly though out their week with us.
